Plans and limits
What Free, Press and Production include, and what happens when you hit a cap or downgrade.
PrintERP has three tiers. Free is a genuinely usable system for a one-press shop, not a trial — it simply has caps on how much you can hold.

Paid modules appear in the sidebar with a padlock and an Upgrade chip. Clicking one opens the plan comparison rather than the feature, so you can always see what you are missing.
Hitting a limit
Limits block the next thing you create, never anything that exists. On Free, an eleventh inventory item is refused with a message naming the limit and the plan that lifts it. Your ten existing items are untouched.
What happens if you downgrade
Over-limit records are hidden, never deleted
Drop from Press to Free with 25 inventory items and you keep all 25 — the ten oldest stay visible and the rest are hidden from lists. Nothing is destroyed. Upgrade again and everything reappears exactly as it was. Deleting a customer's data because their card expired would be indefensible.
The visible set is always the oldest records by creation date, computed independently of any search or filter you have applied, so it stays stable and predictable.
Users are the exception
Seats are never hidden — that would lock real people out of the system mid-shift. Over-limit users keep working; you simply cannot add new ones until you upgrade.
Choosing a plan
- Free — one press, a short materials list, counter trade. Real ink and paper tracking included.
- Press — several presses, a proper materials list, and the modules for quoting and buying.
- Production — high volume, no caps worth thinking about.
The first cap most shops meet is inventory items, not machines — ten covers a couple of papers and a colour set, and little else.
